The practice was established in 1980 and we have always been in the Village of Streetsville because we like the “small town” feel proximate to Toronto. The first office was at 57 Queen Street South. We have tried hard to keep the practice general with a focus on Business, Family Law, Real Estate, and Wills and Estates.
Our clients’ needs have in large measure driven the direction of our firm. By investing long hours, hard work and continuing education, our law firm’s reputation steadily progressed as the years have passed.
As our reputation grew, so did our client base and our need for more support staff which led to a move to more space and we relocated the practice to the south end of Streetsville at 265 Queen Street South in 1989.
Growth again dictated the necessity of another move, and in 1994, we relocated our office to 93 Queen Street South, Streetsville where we are now and our staff number has grown to 14. We are now the largest firm in Streetsville.
With over 40 years’ experience of providing legal solutions that are responsive, practical, and efficient, we offer trustworthy and affordable legal advice and services in the areas of Corporate/Commercial, Real Estate, Family and Divorce, Wills and Estates, and Litigation.
Our clients only pay for quality legal advice and committed service.
To date, we have successfully closed over 32,000 files. We are counsel for over 600 companies and have in storage over 7,000 Last Wills that we have prepared for our client base. We have been involved in over 1,000 contested trials and motions in all levels of court in Ontario. We know that hands-on experience is what truly matters, and the knowledge and insight that flows from it cannot be secured with an advertising budget, large billboards, or by television and radio spots.
We understand that meeting and achieving our clients’ expectation is a prerequisite to being a successful law firm – but that alone is not enough.

In February, 2015, Richard Bennett was appointed as a Justice of the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario). He and Mr. Day have known each other since undergrad in university and practised across the street from one another for over 20 years. It was therefore a natural fit for Day + Borg LLP to take over his practice. All of Justice Bennett’s clients’ original Last Wills and Powers of Attorney are in safekeeping with our office at 93 Queen Street South.
